Telegram post reveals possible recruitment method in MyDefence espionage case

New details suggest two Ukrainians accused of photographing the Danish counter-drone manufacturer may have been drawn into the case through a Telegram advertisement

An advertisement offering free electronics may have played a role in the suspected espionage operation targeting Danish defence company MyDefence.

According to an investigation by Danish broadcaster DR, the advertisement appeared in a Telegram group for Ukrainians living in Denmark, offering a television, microwave and office furniture for collection in Aalborg.
